Print Coloring Books for Your Kids
By Tony Lee
Back when you were a kid, you probably enjoyed coloring on black and white pages of coloring books just as I did. Although they were not that expensive, you could fill a book in just a matter of hours. That of course was before the internet appeared with all its content. The other day I was searching for some color info on RGB and CMYK technology about a Photoshop file I was trying to print. In the process I found (totally by mistake) information on how you can save on buying coloring books. If you’re searching for some new material for your kids to keep them occupied, then this might be for you. You may be a day care provider or mother looking for some entertainment for your kids without going broke. There is a wealth of printable color book images out there that you can either print directly from the website, or "save image as" then print later. There are some drawbacks to some of these websites however, such as "popup windows" or having to register and provide your email address. On a positive note, most are free and ask for nothing in return. Simply do a search for printable coloring pages for kids and you'll get hundreds of listings. There are literally thousands to choose from such as New Year's Day, Black History, Groundhog's Day, Valentine's Day, President's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Passover, Easter, Mother's Day, Flag Day, 4th of July, Alphabet, Animals, Cartoon Characters, Countries and Cultures Themes....the list goes on and on! The majority of these pages are high quality images that print out clear and crisp. This is truly a gold mine for parents needing to improve their children's academics by searching for subject matter such as math, history, geography, spelling and much more! There are even pages that can be found to learn a second language. Imagine learning another language just by coloring! The only other caution I might add is that caution should be taken that you do not violate any copyright issues with the images. Many times there are limitations to how and where these images can be used. If in doubt, contact the website, webmaster or view the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page for further guidance. Have fun and ...... Happy Coloring! |
