The Sport of Paintball is a blast!

Paint ball is growing more popular every day. Although it is not a cheap hobby, it is liked my all ages and gender. Most consider it a sport because it involves a lot of physical activity. The game is fairly simple, you and your opponent or team face off against each other and fire rubber balls containing paint at each other. The balls, called paintballs naturally, contain various colors of paint. The idea is to avoid being hit by your opponent.
There are many places to play the game. Since the game became popular, many public facilities have opened up to the sport. It is there that you can play safely and with the challenge of special barriers and obstacles to add realism to the game. Some have even set up obstacle courses at home, but unless you have plenty of space, the game won't be as enjoyable. Paintball players need to dig deep into their pockets in order to purchase the equipment, it's not cheap. One can spend as much as $300-$500 dollars to start off with, depending on the model of paintball "Marker" (gun) and Accessories, such as masks, suits, air tanks, marker barrels and of course, paintballs.
As you engage in the sport of paintball, keep safety in mind. Although safety and protective gear is worn, it should be remembered that you are firing a weapon. Playing the sport in safe manner and following the rules will yield many hours of enjoyment and great exercise! |
