Traveling to Malgrat de Mar, Spain! Here's a place I've been to while stationed in Europe and had a great time! Me and a bunch of my Army buddies took a weeks leave and traveled by bus across France and down to the southern tip of Spain. Malgrat de Mar was our destination. It has many seaside resorts, great hotels which offer live music and shows at night. Many places we passed on our first night there had outdoor entertainment and large crowds people. If you like dancing, there are plenty of all night clubs that still offer a "disco" atmosphere and great music. Shopping seemed to be pretty cheap, especially for clothes. One thing that really amazed us was the number of Irish and Scottish pubs that Malgrat has! We had a great time with the bartenders, especially when we told them we were military. The beaches are awesome....white sand, warm water and a lot of scenery....if you know what I mean. Traveling to Spain? Malgrat de mar is a place to consider...as Spain is the hot spot where Europeans take their vacations. Now I know why! |
